The Corolla Rose

As the daughter of a noble family from the old royal court, Yirui despises nothing more than rude, overbearing people. Like that rowdy mercenary, Lairman.

As the leader of the Falcon Mercenary Corps in the back alleys, Lairman hates nothing more than having to deal with fussy, troublesome weaklings. Like that young lady, Yirui, who does nothing but indulge in wild fantasies.

Before they escaped the mutated hunting grounds, they both agreed that once they got out, they would be better off never seeing each other again. But the unknown future is always full of drama.

On a prophetic mirror that could show the future, Yirui and Lairman saw a man and woman embracing in a garden of Corolla roses, flowers that symbolized eternal love. They both swore at the same time.

Yirui: "Good heavens, how could I ever kiss him?"

Lairman: "What a piece of junk. I'll smash it with one punch!"

P.S. This is my take on Pride and Prejudice in a Western fantasy setting, with plenty of made-up lore. First book in the Western fantasy series.

Theme: Love life, and be strong and brave.
