(Just another office drone who gets off work late every day. I write slowly, but I'll do my best, and I will absolutely not abandon this story!) Updated September 14
Stone-hearted lifelong single × faux playboy who falls into pure, earnest love
"I gave the once-in-a-lifetime innocence of my heart to the once-in-a-lifetime love of my life."
Song Yu had been single since birth for over twenty years, but at last her heart began to stir. Unfortunately, the man she fell for was Shen Ji, a playboy who spent his days lazing around.
One was rebellious and carefree, the other quiet and wooden. How could two people so different ever have a happy ending? Her friends all thought this was another disastrous romance and urged Song Yu to break up as soon as possible and escape her misery.
One day, the unruly, defiant Second Young Master Shen got himself a sweet, innocent girlfriend. Everyone thought it was just a whim, and that he would toss her aside the moment he lost interest.
No one had believed in their relationship from the start. In the end, they broke up after graduation, and Shen Ji went abroad.
No one knew what had happened between them. Only Song Yu knew that she had broken up with Shen Ji in the year he loved her most.
Four years later.
After her mother insisted time and again, Song Yu had no choice but to attend a matchmaking dinner. When she arrived and pushed open the door, the first person she saw wasn't her prospective match, who was waving at her. It was Shen Ji, sitting at a nearby table in a sharp suit. Song Yu froze, and Shen Ji looked over at her at the same time.
Song Yu steeled herself and sat down, trying to keep her eyes on the menu in front of her. She was still hunched over, pretending to be an ostrich, when she heard a soft chuckle beside her:
"Song Yu, it's been four years. Aren't you going to say hello to an old friend?"
After hurriedly ending the matchmaking dinner, Song Yu tried to run, but Shen Ji caught her.
The cool, refined man leaned against his car, his expression unreadable.
After a long silence, Song Yu finally heard Shen Ji's cold voice:
"Song Yu, four years ago, you told me you wouldn't marry anyone. So what do you call this?"
Song Yu ran away again.
Shen Ji got drunk at a business dinner. Usually so good at hiding his emotions, he stared blearily at the driver and told him to take him to Song Yu's home.
Song Yu had warned herself not to get involved with Shen Ji again, but in the end, her heart softened and she helped him inside.
Shen Ji curled up and fell asleep on her narrow single bed. As Song Yu pulled over a blanket to cover him, she spotted the silver necklace around his neck. Curious, she gently drew out the chain hidden beneath his collar.
At just one glance, Song Yu's eyes filled with tears.
Hanging from the necklace was the engagement ring Shen Ji had prepared for her four years ago.
She had once sworn she would never suffer for love.
In the end, she was no exception.
He was rebellious and carefree, like a wild horse drinking in the wind,
but still willing to lower his head and let that person tame him.
Note: The male lead is a faux playboy!!!

So does the male protagonist have an ex-girlfriend? Have many ex-girlfriends? Have you ever liked anyone else?
I'm so happy to see Fubao's updated article! If you are tired, lie down and rest! I hope there will be a Fubao who is in great health and will update the article online!

"It's like a kiss" is a big bug for the author~ The last paragraph! I really want it, I really want it, hahahaha
Spread the flowers, remember to take a good rest. Working non-stop for more than ten days is really tiring! Hug my baby.
