He as Her Shadow (Female-Dominant World)

The young princess had been frail and sickly since childhood. One rainy day, she saw a man lying face-down beneath a tree, his blood spreading through the rainwater. He looked lifeless.

People said he was only a lowly palace guard. If he died there, he would sully the young princess's eyes.

Wen Hao stared blankly at the man's long fingers, reaching out as if he hoped to seize the sunlight hidden behind the clouds.

She walked over and held her umbrella over him.

Xuan Ye could only vaguely feel the warmth. The rain no longer struck him with its icy sting. He opened his eyes in a daze and saw a jade-like young woman bending over him, her expression touched by the merciful pity of a bodhisattva.

So warm it was suffocating.

Then all he saw was her white-clad back.

Xuan Ye had been nothing but a lowly stray dog, a sharp blade, a wretched shadow. Then he met his little princess, and suddenly light entered his dark life.

Both leads are each other's first and only. The male lead is a beautiful, strong, tragic, humble shadow guard with severe insecurity. The female lead is a beautiful, kindhearted little angel. A short, sweet story.
