An unknown virus swept across the globe, causing plants and animals to evolve and making survival a huge challenge for humanity. A military research institute developed a serum that could make people stronger, claiming it would put humanity back at the top of the food chain.

Like most alphas, the top injected himself with the serum and joined the military. With his overwhelming combat ability and impressive military record, he became the Federation's undisputed strongest fighter.

But before long, his subordinates began dying in bizarre accidents, and he himself went mad and died from a severe rejection reaction.

When he awoke again, he was back on the day he received the serum.
