A Cat’s Redemption

Double Black, each other's second archenemy, suddenly find themselves together in a strange world one day. A subtitle claiming to be the [Meow Meow God] unceremoniously assigns them the same mission.

[Meow Meow God]: Please save a girl who wants to kill herself, guide her onto the right path, and help her get into university, meow!

Former mafia executive (no bachelor's degree): ...

Current mafia executive (no bachelor's degree): ...

The right path? Getting into university?

...What the heck?

The subtitle claiming to be the [Meow Meow God] promises to grant any one wish when they complete the mission. With no way to leave, they can only grit their teeth and accept it. But when they open their eyes again, they never imagined they'd be cats who can't speak human language, with a difficult start from the very beginning.

The mission is a total pain, but what can they do? They can only grit their teeth and get on with it. Nobody wants to claim the post-failure package deal: death by paraquat or losing another twenty centimeters in height!

Reader's guide:

1. A product of the author's imagination. All greatness belongs to zw; all OOC belongs to me.

2. Double Black turn into cats and can't talk. Chuya can still use his ability, but it's weakened.

3. Chuya pairing. I mainly want Dazai to rescue Tou no Suke.

4. Inspired by the Bilibili video "A Word of Advice to Cat Owners: Never Get Two Cats."

5. The heroine has no ability at first. Later she gets a Disney-princess-style ability that lets her communicate with animals. She has no combat strength.

6. Angsty opening, sweet little treats later on.

Theme: Even in darkness, we must bring light to those who have lost hope.
