After Joining a Dating Show with My Archrival

Everyone online knows that Lin Chuyi's breakout work, the one that made her a hugely popular young actress, was slammed by acclaimed actor Li Yanzhi as pointless trash.

The two had nothing in common, but from then on they were at odds, becoming the entertainment industry's most notorious enemies.

What no one knew was that Lin Chuyi and Li Yanzhi had broken up just a month earlier.

A dating reality show announced its guest stars. Lin Chuyi was the most popular female guest, and everyone was eager to find out who the mysterious male guest would be.

Then, on the first day of filming, Lin Chuyi was surrounded by the male guests. Li Yanzhi arrived with a cold expression, and no one dared approach him. The contrast between them was striking.

Netizens: The actor, who has never shown a woman the slightest tenderness, is probably going to make the big vase Lin Chuyi cry to her face.

Troublemakers settled in with their popcorn: Let's watch the drama unfold.jpg

The production team publicly interviewed the guests about their ideal types:

Lin Chuyi: I like good-looking guys, preferably considerate and obedient, the sweet-talking puppy type.

Fans: Take note: handsome, young, good at sweet-talking, older woman-younger man romance.

Li Yanzhi, older and more composed, with a stubborn mouth and a dark expression, said, "Immature. Not my type."

Netizens: ?

During the show's activities, the other guests were surrounded by pink bubbles as they interacted, and their CP fans cried out that they were unbearably sweet.

By contrast, Lin Chuyi and Li Yanzhi kept at least two meters between them. They looked like they were afraid of getting styes if they so much as glanced at each other.

Fans were worried the two would come to blows before filming was even over.

The troublemakers, eager to watch the drama, even started shipping a crack ship: Look at that tension, that push and pull! They act cold in public, but get up to bed-breaking sex in private. Come on, sisters, let's make this happen!

Later, someone dug up the actor's secret Weibo account. It was filled with declarations of love for Lin Chuyi.

Netizens were stunned: Holy crap! Is this Chuyi the same Chuyi I think it is?

Li Yanzhi tagged Lin Chuyi directly: At the start of the new year, you will always be my Chuyi.
