After Breaking Up with Gin

1v1 ending: Everyone Gets a Wife. The original-setting extras will be updated irregularly.

[Blurb]

In my tenth year of trying to tame Gin, I gave up.

The silver-haired man was always surrounded by an icy aura, keeping everyone at arm's length.

Including me, who shared his bed and had come out of the training camp with him.

*

On the first day after I gave up on him, three newcomers joined the organization.

I listlessly raised my eyelids and spotted the long-haired man at a glance.

He was as cold and stern as Gin, with the same eye color and a similar presence. His long hair was like a spiderweb, binding me tightly.

The only difference was that Moroboshi would do anything I asked, accepting all my whims and bad moods.

He was the perfect substitute.

I was very pleased with my new lover. One day, on our way home after a mission, I casually picked a flower and tucked it against his chest.

Me: "Moroboshi-kun, you can level up now."

Me: "You can go from lover to boyfriend. Want to accept this blessing?"

On the first day we went public, Gin looked at me like a crazed beast, ready to tear me apart and devour me.

I leaned against Moroboshi and smiled at the silver-haired man.

I was satisfied.

*The main story is told in third person.

*Completed at over 100,000 words.

*I'm obsessed with revising. I welcome writing advice, though I may not take it.

*The blurb looks satisfying, but the story is actually a melodramatic tangle of bitter love and hate.

*I think I'm good at writing sweet romances.

How to Avoid an Hagi-Style Double Suicide Ending

Important: The ending is set. They both die, so it's a HE. Run if you can't accept that!

[Blurb]

Aoi Akikawa thought something was a little off about this world.

First, flowers used for memorials mysteriously appeared outside his home.

Mountains of yellow-and-white chrysanthemums were mixed with a few tear-stained notes saying, "Deepest condolences. May their legacy live forever."

Then passersby with all sorts of bizarre hairstyles stared at him strangely. On closer inspection, their colorful eyes were filled with tears.

Aoi: ...

Is this a side effect of dyed hair and colored contacts?

Things got worse and worse. When a red-eyed transfer student bawled, "Mom's precious boy, why did you have to die so young?" and lunged at him, Aoi Akikawa finally broke down.

Help! Is there something wrong with all these people?
