A genius sunshine policewoman who solves criminal cases x a psychology doctor on the "edge of criminality"
An unsolved case turned eight-year-old Shi Yu from the son of a renowned criminal investigation professor, envied by everyone, into the son of a "murderer" in other people's mouths.
His relatives kept their distance, and his mother died. Shi Yu became someone everyone avoided.
That same year, five-year-old Jian Yu reached out to Shi Yu. "Friends." He struck the back of her hand hard.
Twenty years later, an unsolved case resurfaces in Spring City. A body that vanished into thin air years ago mysteriously reappears at the scene where it disappeared.
A severely decomposed skeleton...
A crime scene with no signs of human interference...
The case gradually takes on an almost supernatural turn, until the clock strikes midnight that night.
Jian Yu reaches out once more to the boy from her dreams. This time, a hand reaches back in the dream and pulls her into another world.
Intersecting timelines, the same cases, and all the mysteries and unsolved crimes haunting the skies above Spring City... With Jian Yu's repeated transmigrations, they are solved one by one.
Known as a "crime-solving genius," Jian Yu is adored by all and has never lacked friends.
But she wants just one friend.
Parallel timelines unfolding side by side.
Cases to be determined, with more to be added later.
Criminal investigation first, romance second.
"Genes load the gun for crime; the environment pulls the trigger."
"Genes are etched into your bones, but only you can decide what kind of person you become."
"Shi Yu, we both have to become very, very good people and stand in the sunlight."
[Reading Guide]
1. "Genes load the gun for crime; the environment pulls the trigger." - From Baidu (there may be other sources, but I couldn't find them).
2. Inspired by the claim that "criminal genes are hereditary," which gave rise to a male lead labeled by others but unwilling to accept his fate, struggling in the mire to save himself and be saved.
