The Mist [Mystery]

I'm not writing the original idea anymore. I've changed it to this suspense novella, which should be under 100,000 characters. The title may change, but the blurb probably won't. I'll post it once the entire story is finished!

One late night, Xu Yun returns from working overtime at the hospital, and strange things begin happening around her.

First, the mouthwash cup she always keeps in the same place is mysteriously moved. Then one or two items of food disappear from the fridge.

Living alone, Xu Yun suspects an intruder has broken into her home.

Then one day, she comes across a post: "Do parallel universes really exist?"

That night, after seeing the post, Xu Yun wakes from a nightmare.

Before she can switch on the bedside lamp, a flash of light catches her eye.

The old phone she lost at home a year ago is glowing, lying quietly beside her bed.

Even stranger, a death threat is tucked beneath it.

The letter is from someone else who calls herself Xu Yun.

This Xu Yun wants to kill her.
