I Think He's Scolding Me

Gentle, resilient, beautiful, adorable deaf shou who knits × short-tempered, actually a crybaby, clingy puppy gong who’s a boxer

When they first meet, Shu Can breaks something precious to Lan Yan.

Lan Yan points a trembling finger at him. “Someone like you, I could knock you down with one punch and make you cry so hard you couldn’t catch your breath. Believe me?”

Shu Can can’t hear, so he has to read people’s words.

He edges over, nervous and apologetic. “I’m sorry. I’ll pay you back. Please don’t cry...”

-

Later, Lan Yan asks, “Shu Can, can I hold your hand when we go out today?”

Unable to hear him, Shu Can has to keep asking him to repeat himself. “What did you say?”

Lan Yan is like a big dog with its tail held high, begging to be petted. “I want a kiss.”

Shu Can: “...”

-

Lan Yan thinks Shu Can is like a cat. Whatever he says, Shu Can just listens intently, eyes wide open.

But every time, after a reaction time long enough to circle half the globe, he’ll slowly say, “Oh.”

He’s very well-behaved, but always aloof and unresponsive. Then, after a while, he lets out a soft “Meow.”

His tail brushes across your heart, leaving you tingling with desire.

#You can’t hear? Then I’ll listen to you#
