The Lady Wants a Divorce Every Day

Yan Mingtong worked diligently for her closest friend and her country for over a decade, only to be poisoned in a cup of wine when suspicion fell upon her. At the critical moment, she set a fire and faked her death to escape, then hid deep in the mountains, barely surviving under the identity of an orphan girl.

But that orphan girl was betrothed, and through a twist of fate, Yan Mingtong married a beautiful female hunter. The woman cared for her in every way, nearly exhausting her family's savings to buy medicine and treat her illness. Gradually, Yan Mingtong's defenses crumbled under her kindness.

But Shang Junyi went out one day and did not return for a long time. War flared up again in the enemy nation's capital, and Yan Mingtong accidentally learned that the person sharing her bed was a spy planted here by the enemy nation.

News arrived from the distant enemy capital: Yan Mingtong had helped the new emperor ascend the throne and was now hailed as one of his founding supporters. Rumor had it that she would soon marry the most esteemed eldest princess, a ruthless woman who tolerated no dissent. Yan Mingtong quietly took out a fake-death drug and divorce papers, ready to disappear at once. But just after she swallowed the drug, an old acquaintance came to her door. Her closest friend knelt before her, begging for forgiveness, while her political rival urged her to divorce.

Even more shockingly, Shang Junyi returned with a sword in hand. After driving the others away, she tore up the divorce papers with red-rimmed eyes and held her bloodstained sword to her own neck, declaring that she would share life and death with Yan Mingtong.
