What! The Sickly Handsome Actor Got Divorced and Is Raising a Kid

Also known as "My Sweet Romance with the Sickly Actor on a Parenting Variety Show"

An aloof beauty, who really does faint at the slightest touch, a masterful actor × a popular young wolfdog who pretends to have a bad temper but is actually a devoted husband

Actor Shen Lixin runs into Qi Yuan again on a parenting variety show, where he has returned to work after giving birth.

By a twist of fate, Qi Yuan becomes the stand-in dad for him and his little one, taking care of them for a month on the show.

Shen Lixin holds his chubby child's hand and stares at the tall, handsome man, at a loss for words.

Hot-tempered Qi Yuan punches the wall, his voice harsh: "Shen Lixin, you've got some nerve! We haven't seen each other in five years, and now you have a kid! Tell me, whose kid is this?"

Shen Lixin turns away and swallows the metallic taste in his throat. "Some other man's. He's dead."

Qi Yuan is so furious he swears he'll never get involved in Shen Lixin's mess again:

Why does Shen Lixin get to party every night and have a kid,

while he, Qi Yuan, has to stay chaste and play stepdad to a little radish?

What a joke!

But just a few days later, he eats his words.

During the show, Shen Lixin accidentally gets soaked in the rain and, feverish and dazed, buries his head against Qi Yuan's chest.

This time, the usually hot-tempered top-tier star doesn't push him away.

Instead, he pats the man's shoulder, his voice gentle:

"Be good, Xin. Get some sleep and you'll feel better."

The actor, burning up like a hot coal, struggles to lift his head and murmurs in Qi Yuan's ear:

"Qi Yuan, I lied to you. The child is yours."

As a top-tier star, Qi Yuan was proud and hot-tempered when he was young.

The little bit of tenderness he had was all for actor Shen Lixin,

but Shen Lixin not only failed to appreciate it, he also ran away for five years.

During those five years, Qi Yuan hated him so much he wanted to tear him apart and swallow him whole.

But when they met again, Shen Lixin had given birth to his child.

Looking at his sturdy little boy and his beloved, frail to the bone, he quietly resolved:

The person he treasured above all else might be as difficult to care for as could be, but he would take good care of him no matter what.
