To get Qin Che out of the leech's hunting range, Li Chuan gave control of his body to Tong Li, another mental entity created within him, and headed to the Golden Triangle to track down the leech.

He was gone for half a year.

Six months later.

In order to hunt down the leech, the second personality returned to Jiangcheng with Qiao Sen, who was also a genetically modified human.

At the same time, the other genetically modified humans who had vanished for the past six months also arrived in Jiangcheng. Dr. T's R Plan was officially restarted, and bizarre cases began unfolding across the city once more.

To uncover the secrets from thirteen years ago and completely eliminate the remaining genetically modified humans, Qin Che once again teamed up with Li Chuan to solve cases, bringing along the criminal investigation team.

At last, thanks to the entire criminal investigation team's tireless persistence and hard work, the truth from thirteen years ago came to light, all the suspects were arrested, and the dark clouds hanging over Jiangcheng finally dispersed.

"I will. But before that, I'll bring you back into the sunlight."

(The blurb is the best I could do...)
