A Date with a Yandere

As a child, Wen Ting was completely fascinated by the comic-book-perfect face of the boy next door. Too young to know better, she even made a promise to him.

Later, his family went through a drastic change, and Wen Ting accidentally lost her memories of that time. The promise was buried for good.

But her love of handsome faces never changed. At college, she even found herself a boyfriend who was a substitute for her childhood crush. Unfortunately, that relationship fell apart too.

After she failed to talk him into staying, Wen Ting turned away in disappointment and ran into Gong Ye, the famously cool and handsome student everyone at school admired.

She heard that his family had fallen on hard times and that he was now penniless.

But the moment he appeared, his breathtakingly handsome face immediately whetted Wen Ting's appetite. She proposed that she bring him something warm every day, as long as he ate with her on time.

She didn't expect him to sneer coldly and walk away.

She thought the matter would simply fade away, but Gong Ye showed up right on time the next day.

Wen Ting bit into a shrimp dumpling, completely satisfied.

Seeing that her mind was elsewhere, the young man murmured, "Is he the only one who whets your appetite?"

Wen Ting was frightened. Without realizing it, she began hoping they could part on good terms.
