Who Told You to Call Me Your Majesty?

[Preorders open, feel free to add it to your collection!]

At first, Xu Chaomeng had no desire to become the empress of the Blue Star Kingdom.

As everyone knew, the throne was a precious thing. So why had it fallen to a soon-to-be college student who'd only just finished her college entrance exams?

"I'm afraid I have bad news." The white-bearded minister entrusted with the late emperor's affairs held out the imperial decree and said to her, "During the final battle against the insect race three years ago, the late emperor was unfortunately afflicted by the bloodline curse of the mother insect. No one noticed at the time, and by the time we discovered the problem, it was too late... Of the twenty-two royal relatives who survived the war, not one is still alive..."

"So I'm the only person in the kingdom with a claim to the throne, even though I was supposed to rank last in the line of succession?"

The minister replied, "Yes."

"If I die, can this country move straight into a democratic republic?"

"...Your Majesty! These are difficult times. You mustn't entertain such thoughts!"

After a pause, the minister hinted in a low voice, "The results of the college entrance exams were only announced yesterday. You haven't chosen your university yet, have you? Your Majesty understands what this old servant means, right?"

"All right." Xu Chaomeng sighed, as helpless as if she could already see her peaceful life disappearing forever. "Since when did you start calling me 'Your Majesty'?"
