The Unconventional Villain's Simulation Game

While looking for a new game, Ji Xu clicked on Villain Simulator. After thinking for a few seconds, he chose the Thief DLC. He transmigrated. [Before nine tomorrow morning, retrieve the item while under the protection of the biggest criminal organization in the city.] Ji Xu: "Huh???" Be honest, is this thief of yours named Kaito Kid? After barely surviving the mission, he tried to uninstall the software. The uninstall failed, and a pop-up filled his screen. Ji Xu chose the Streamer DLC. There was no way he could become a world-destroying supervillain just by being a streamer, right? [Broadcast your "game" to the whole world.] Ji Xu stared at the screen in confusion. "??" Don't make hosting a battle royale sound so casual! After making a hasty retreat, he carefully picked out a cult-leader DLC that looked thoroughly evil. [Infiltrate the organization and spread your doctrine to your enemies.] Ji Xu fumbled through the mission and somehow managed to get everyone in the cult except himself sent to jail. Staring at the words "Mission Complete," he fell into thought. "..." So that's what it means to infiltrate the enemy. Suddenly, his mind opened up to new possibilities. First published on Jinjiang. All other copies are pirated. Reading Guide: 1. Each simulator has a different profession. This is an unconventional secret identity anthology. 2. Here, "villain" refers to professions viewed negatively by society and morality. For example, streamers are viewed positively, but battle royale hosts are viewed negatively. It doesn't reflect the person's character. To be clear, the characters' values don't represent the author's. I'm trying to write a villain who is a decent person but acts like a villain. (I don't know how to put it, and my limited vocabulary is one of my biggest weaknesses. Darn it.) A preview of my upcoming story next door: I'll Have to Fight Monsters to Clean Up the City After waking up, Lu Zhi realizes he's lost his memory. He's clutching an employee card that lists his position as [Senior Supervisor of Logistics and Landscaping]. Lu Zhi: ... This lousy job needs a supervisor? And is he a delivery guy or a groundskeeper? Considering how tough the job market is, and the fact Lu Zhi can't even remember his bank card PIN, he figures that if he lets go of this lead, he'll end up homeless. So he calls the number on the card. The other end: "Hello." The other end: "Tell me the time, place, and target. The job will be completed within thirty days of your order. Delays come with a discount. Jumping the queue costs extra." "...?" Lu Zhi slowly types a question mark, having been mistaken for a customer. Isn't he a delivery guy? Why would he need the client's details? Is he delivering a corpse?! Rumor has it that all sorts of strange creatures have sprung up in the steel-forest city, but some people have been secretly clearing them out. Those people belong to the legendary [City Civilization and Sanitation Maintenance Bureau]. In the eyes of the public, their department handles deliveries, renovations, sanitation, and public order. They're on call around the clock, all year long, hardworking and conscientious, always ready to do their part to improve the city's appearance. Lu Zhi has always thought this was just part of his secret identity, until one day their department received a special mention on TV at the City's Appearance Improvement Awards Ceremony, and someone even called to say they wanted to send them a congratulatory banner. Lu Zhi, standing on a monster's head: ... Well, who can say clearing out monsters isn't a way to improve the city's appearance? Theme: Leave the virtual world behind and embrace real life
