Crime Simulation (Sherlock)

Jeff Francis, a genius with delusions.

His delusions manifested as an inability to stop himself from devising criminal plans in his head whenever he saw certain scenes. The plans were feasible and utterly perfect.

This made him despise himself. In high school, he even got into the habit of writing the plans down and tearing them up to relieve stress. Years later, after medication successfully brought his delusions under control, he managed to live the peaceful life he wanted, despite struggling with mild anorexia and insomnia.

That is, until a series of crimes based on the plans he'd come up with back then began to take place, plunging him once more into self-loathing and anxiety.

When he was at the end of his rope and even considering ending his own life, a criminal consultant appeared with his old manuscripts. The first thing he said was, "I fell in love with you at first sight."

He said such sweet things, yet held the manuscripts in his hand and asked Jeff to try dating him.

Living together, going on dates, getting too close, being pushed into heart-to-heart talks he couldn't refuse, and hearing "I love you" at every turn: all of it made Francis uncomfortable.

But there's no denying that he felt relaxed around Moriarty. He didn't have to hide the strange parts of himself.

Francis didn't want to admit it, but he was indeed gradually falling in love with this criminal consultant. He realized he couldn't stop himself from imagining how he would confess his feelings to him.
