Gin was reborn.
In his previous life, after experiencing the final battle against the Red Side, Gin opened his eyes and found himself in a police dormitory.
The police officers he recognized greeted him with admiring calls of "Brother Jin." Even when his bloodlust made them break into a cold sweat, they still rushed over to ask him for advice. His superiors all treated him with fond affection, and the first thing they said when they saw him was to tell him to work fewer overtime hours.
The Public Security Bureau, FBI, and CIA agents he had once treated as rats spoke of trust and reliance, calling him disgusting things like "ally" and "partner," and putting their backs in his hands when danger came.
And that little detective who drove him up the wall acted all clingy with him like he was his own big brother, dragging over every tiny little murder case. Gin nearly lost his temper and cracked the kid's head open.
As Gin gagged at the sight of his Red Side self and this brand-new world, a clear chime sounded by his ear. Then dense lines of text appeared before his eyes:
[Heard Gin's on the Red Side now? I've gotta come see this for myself.]
The famous detective, drugged with APTX 4869, was dying in the rain when he encountered a man with long silver hair and a black trench coat, a man who practically screamed that he was a bad guy. The misunderstood death-god grade-schooler did everything he could to escape, only to be impatiently dumped into the passenger seat by Kurosawa Jin. Yet the man protected him amid the organization's hail of gunfire, his face dark with anger.
Conan, the director, was silent. He spent a long time getting closer to him, only to find himself one day under the death glare of Officer Kurosawa, whose eyes were as cold and familiar as the day they first met.
The daily life of Red Gin:
"FBI, Public Security, detectives, and the organization's rats, all of you can die!"
Then a soccer ball would always suddenly appear.
"B-Brother Jin, the kid didn't do it on purpose..."
Kurosawa Jin glared at him. "I know. The police aren't allowed to shoot minors with a sniper rifle."
"You're not allowed to shoot adults either! Also, Brother Jin, you're terrifying! You're trying to convince yourself, not warn us, aren't you?!"
Kurosawa Jin watched the death-god grade-schooler through his scope and repeated coldly, "The police can't shoot in a situation like this!"
"Brother Jin! Don't go looking for an excuse to shoot him!"
Highlights:
- After being forced onto the Red Side, Gin feels he's being persecuted and takes it out on everyone while staying just within the law. (Or so it seems.)
- Characters switch between Red and Black sides.
- Someone will have a one-sided crush on Gin. Gin has no need for romance. (Coldly.)
