Let Me Tell You a Secret

(I'm back to fill in this story. All previously posted chapters will be revised, and locked chapters are still being edited. The chapters that are available have already been revised.)

At their class reunion, Jiang Chenye and Gu Xingnan appear calm on the surface, while undercurrents swirl between them.

Asked about love, Jiang Chenye says with a bitter smile, "The person I like looks like a genius, but romance just doesn't register with her. She can't tell friend from foe."

Gu Xingnan thinks, So even you can get stumped sometimes, huh? Hehe. Just wait, I'll make up a story so outrageous it'll blow your mind, and beat you in both the number and quality of my relationships!

Little does she know that Jiang Chenye is talking about her...

The Gu and Jiang families have been at odds for generations: the grandparents fought over the table tennis championship, and their parents pulled each other's pants down and knocked out teeth. Ever since she was little, she's been taught, "You have to beat that Jiang brat and avenge our family!"

They spent their whole youth competing, until that message-passing game in their senior year, when he deliberately changed the line to "Jiang Chenye, I like you," humiliating her in front of everyone... Generational enemies, generational enemies!!

(A clichéd reunion after a long separation.)
