Utterly Immersed [Infinite]

When Xia Daiqing woke up, he was told that he was dead.

The System took over his soul and sent him into horror games to play various NPCs and train the players trying to clear them.

Xia Daiqing: Why a horror game?

System: Because you're a ghost now.

...That's hard to argue with.

In the first world, he was the "bride" sacrificed to the mountain god because of his beauty. As soon as he opened his eyes, he saw himself sprawled across a coffin lid. The sky was dim and sunless. All around him were "girls" dressed in red wedding gowns just like his, staring straight at him in unison.

[You are a member of the revenge group. Help the players expose the village's evil deeds so the wronged souls here can rest in peace.]

In the second world, he was a merfolk. Without warning, he found himself face-to-face with the dark depths of the sea. A huge, imposing structure loomed before him, magnificent yet terrifying.

[You are a merfolk guarding an ancient tomb in the deep sea. The invading players are your enemies. Make sure none of them get out alive.]

In the third world, he was the master of a manor, alone with a lantern, keeping watch over the cold and silent mansion and the cemetery in the back garden. The densely packed tombstones marked the people who had once come here.

[You are the "God" in Werewolf, responsible for maintaining order in the game.]

The fourth world...

Xia Daiqing had previously worked as both a murder-mystery game host and an actor. Playing NPCs was practically his old job. The lifelike realism didn't bother him at all. On the contrary, it made him even more immersed

in becoming the character in the story.

*Not too scary (probably)
