You Have Two Personalities, So What?

Ming Shubai has a spouse. They married under contract, agreed to three rules, and promised not to interfere in each other's lives.

One day, Ming Shubai suddenly runs into his contract spouse. All his usual restraint and seriousness have vanished. Dressed all in black, he speaks without a care: "Hey, handsome. Nice to meet you. Can I add you on WeChat?"

Ming Shubai thinks his spouse is really not putting in any effort. At least he still remembers what his contract spouse looks like.

With the attitude of "Let's see what kind of stunt you're pulling," Ming Shubai plays along.

But one day, he's cornered at the door. His contract spouse grits his teeth and says, "Ming Shubai, you're something else. You got married and then tricked me into being the third party?"

Ming Shubai: ...You're taking this role way too seriously. And the person I'm married to is you!

His chest heaves, his eyes red with anger, but then he suddenly releases Ming Shubai and straightens his tie, pretending not to care. "Is the person at home not doing it for you? How about this: dump him and be with me, and I'll let it go!"

Ming Shubai stares at the ring the man has just put on his finger and falls into deep thought.

Back home, his contract spouse is dressed in white, sitting on the sofa with a smile. "I hear you've got a little wolfdog on the side?"

The man smiles, calm and unruffled, and speaks as if it were nothing. "Shubai, even though ours is a contract marriage, you should still keep things discreet when you fool around."

He pauses, then adds in a conciliatory tone, "We need to be a loving couple for now. Dump him first, and find someone obedient and fun later."

Ming Shubai: ...

That night, Ming Shubai gets a call from the little wolfdog, who immediately asks, "Have you divorced him yet?"

By day, his contract spouse shows up at the door. "Shubai, you've kept him well hidden. My people have been watching for days and haven't found him. What are you afraid of?"

Ming Shubai: ...

Great.

Life really is interesting!
