The short school sports manga The R Next to Me, posted on popular manga artist Kiyomiya Hiyori's personal social media account, has gone months without an update.
The story is nearing its end. All that remains before the finale is the male lead R's final confession. Fans are used to their favorite artist's romantic inexperience and the barely-there love stories in her past works. Only a small handful of die-hard romantics check in every day and persistently ask her the same questions:
