(An otome game story. The blurb will be revised again.)
After clearing the game, I became the god of a new world.
I acquired divine items: [Seven to the Third Power], [The Book], [Aptx4869], [Title: God of Coffee Jelly], and [Fake Holy Grail].
With all the items collected, I was content and ready to leave.
Who knew my new world would collapse at lightning speed while I was just browsing a forum?
The next second, a server-wide announcement awarded me the achievement of shortest-reigning god in history.
Me: ?
What happened?
While I stood there bewildered, the System log informed me that the Old Ones were the culprits who had put me on the Pillory of Shame.
Looking at the familiar list of enemies, I clenched my fists. You again, Nyarlathotep!
"Long time no see, darling." The demonic god, looking like a perfectly respectable person, cheerfully challenged me: "Let's wager the world and settle this with a proxy battle~"
"If I win, you'll get out of my new world right away!"
"Of course."
With the System as our witness, the showdown between Nyarlathotep and me began.
At the same time, to help me save myself, my items all volunteered to lend a hand:
Seven to the Third Power gave me three choices: two rings that would burst into flames if rubbed, and a glowing pacifier. Choosing any one of them would earn me the recognition of an ancient family in Italy.
The Book's pages said that as its chosen holder, I could command the three major organizations in Yokohama.
The A Drug told me it was both a treasure of eternal life and a deadly poison. With it, I could easily get a member of the Black Organization to serve me and do my bidding.
The God of Coffee Jelly claimed that wearing the title would let me make coffee jelly that even a superpowered esper couldn't resist, every single time.
"And you?" I looked at the golden Holy Grail, standing silently in the corner. "What can you do?"
"Me?" The Holy Grail took its time answering after being addressed, sounding lazy and languid. "Does spewing out black mud count? I can casually produce enough black mud to fill a world every day~"
"So you're just a black-mud-making machine?" I immediately lost interest. "Isn't that just non-recyclable trash?"
"Why would I be trash? Don't look down on black mud like that, honestly. I'm an omnipotent wish-granting machine. As long as you can pay the price of ▇+▇+▇+▇..." The Holy Grail wriggled its body in displeasure, then transformed. A black-haired young man with bandages wrapped all around his left eye and gloom radiating from him sat on the curved handle of the cup. He looked listless and drew out his words: "I'll grant any wish you make."
"Even handing over the world you want, for example... I can do that too, you know?"
My go-o-o-o-od...
1. The main story is told in third person.
2. Pairing undecided. Anything is possible.
3. Mountains of headcanons, no logic, a wildly chaotic timeline, and the usual OOC, OOC, OOC!
4. A few Lovecraftian creatures appear, with some major changes. They're probably just background bosses for the trials?
