Can't You Take a Joke?

The day after the wealthy single woman Fei Yan returned home, her mother arranged a blind date for her, saying the guy was devastatingly handsome.

On the day of the date, Fei Yan had planned to just go through the motions. But when she saw the man in front of her, she changed her mind.

She knew him.

Back in high school, Fei Yan had worked up the nerve to confess her feelings to him.

He listened absentmindedly, then glanced at her and smiled casually. "Sorry, I'm a good student. We're not a good match."

For all these years, Fei Yan had held a grudge over that. Now, it seemed the heavens had finally opened their eyes.

She was now worth over a hundred million, while he, once the darling of the heavens, was penniless.

Fei Yan curled her red lips into a smile. She would flirt with him subtly, tempt him with the allure of money, and dump him once she had him.

The night she suggested breaking up, the man loosened his tie and leaned back on the sofa, calmly listing his good points. "But after we break up, you won't be able to kiss me or hold me, or call me and have me come running, then send me away whenever you feel like it. Can you really give that up?"

Fei Yan: "..."
