Livestreaming Daily Life on a Desert Island

As graduation season arrives, the little tree spirit Sang Zhi awakens her spiritual powers, packs her bags, and returns to the island where she grew up.

The sea breeze is salty, Grandma's multigrain porridge is thick and warming, Grandpa's sun-dried medicinal herbs smell wonderful, the big yellow dog Wangcai wags its tail around her, and the myna in the cage beneath the rafters recites poems to her every day.

"The sun sets behind the mountains, the Yellow River flows, flows, flows..."

The myna, which can never finish a single poem, perches on Sang Zhi's shoulder and watches short videos, squawking along: "Stream, stream, stream..."

Sang Zhi starts livestreaming.

On the first day, a few curious viewers enter her "Island Wellness" livestream.

"What kind of wellness? The kind where you steep goji berries in chrysanthemum tea?"

"What's the deal with this island? Is the streamer a scammer?"

In less than a month, her livestream has over ten thousand viewers, all of them squealing at their screens.

"Waaah... I want grandparents this wonderful, too."

"Ahhh... Why can I watch the streamer sitting in a rocking chair in the sea breeze for half an hour?"

"I've been getting up early and going to bed early with the streamer. I don't feel dizzy anymore, my eyesight's better, and my back and legs don't hurt either."

Half a year later, beautiful faces start appearing in the livestream from time to time.

Shen Xingchen, a superstar tormented by anorexia for years: Grandma's seafood rice is delicious.

Liu Yanjun, a national Go champion who often suffers from insomnia due to stress: The sweetest dreams are found here.

Ouyang Hao, the richest man who had made a will and planned to go to Switzerland for assisted suicide: It's good to be alive.

Gu Yingcheng, a young scientist suffering from a serious illness: I can devote another eighty years to my country!

The whole internet goes wild: What kind of island is this? I want to go, too!
