[Western Crossover] Father and Son of the Stark Family

Tony, superhero, engineer, entrepreneur, genius inventor, and former playboy, has a secret nobody knows: he has a son. Peter, superhero, high school student, nerd, walking disaster, and orphan, has a secret too: Richard isn't his father. His biological father is someone else. Peter has always refused to reveal his true identity to the superheroes. To be precise, there is one person he doesn't want to tell. Why? Spider and Stark are both geniuses, have similar personalities, and hit it off right away. Whenever a mission goes wrong, Stark is the first person Spider turns to for comfort. As his mentor, Stark has set aside a whole section of his lab just for Spider. His favoritism is so obvious that even the other superheroes joke that they never thought they'd see the day Stark became a parent. There's no doubt about it: Iron Man favors Spider-Man. But Peter Parker? Tony won't even admit that Peter is his son, and he doesn't show up even for the legally mandated monthly visitation. Peter... Peter hates Stark, and is absolutely certain Stark hates him too. Of course, he's wrong. He has no idea how much Stark loves him. Reader advisory: 1. Stark is a jerk in the early chapters. More specifically, there's a reason he gives people the cold shoulder, but no reason excuses the hurt he causes. If you can't accept that, now's the time to leave. 2. There are angst-filled scenes. If you only like fluff, I'd suggest leaving too. But I promise the ending is very sweet. 3. There are a lot of original alterations in this story. For the best reading experience, treat it as a parallel universe that differs considerably from canon. The other three are about Jason Todd and Bruce Wayne :) Theme: Let go of the past and face the future.
