Exhausted every Monday, so I take Mondays off. Updates on other days around 10:00 p.m.
(Just here for a bit of fun! The whole story leans toward cozy everyday life, and there's a lot I can't write about. It mainly follows the protagonist's family. Preorder: I Won Awards Until My Hands Went Numb by Writing in Hong Kong (Transmigrated into a Book))
Synopsis
Everyone thought Sang Jiashu was blind, ignoring their advice and mistaking a stone for a precious jade.
A pretty girl from the county went to the countryside and somehow married a fake foreign devil who'd been locked up in a cowshed and forced to eat sour leftovers and cold water.
They were just waiting for the day the couple ran out of food, worn down by poverty and hardship, and cried as they went back to her parents' home.
To be honest, Sang Jiashu was waiting too.
Waiting for what?
Of course, for her husband to rise to greatness and become the legendary tycoon of Hong Kong, revered by generations to come: that famous patriotic entrepreneur.
Far away in Pingshui Village, Lihe County,
At Sang Jiashu's feet lay mosquito-repellent herbal powder her husband had ground.
To her front left, a waterwheel fan he'd made sent a gentle breeze her way.
To her front right sat a chilled watermelon, cut into pieces and skewered with bamboo sticks by his own hand before he left.
In a black pottery jar on the table was a bunch of wildflowers she'd pleaded with him to bring home the previous afternoon, saying any kind would do as long as it was pretty enough to admire.
In front of her was a physics workbook he'd personally put together to help her prepare for the high school entrance exams,
with workbooks for English, math, chemistry, geography, and history stacked beside it.
He was practically a genius at everything.
She often ran her hand over his head and thought: With so much crammed in there, surely something's going to overload and break sooner or later.
As the sun sank in the west, a tall, lean figure appeared in the doorway. His face was cool and handsome, his expression impassive, and somehow the delicate wildflowers in his hand suited him perfectly.
Then he drew her against his sweaty chest. She raised her swanlike arms and naturally wrapped them around his young, firm back. For a moment, all she could hear was the sweet sound of their breaths.
As their life grew better and better, instead of going northwest to trade goods, he took her back to his home in Beijing. Renowned professors competed to recruit him, and then he headed south to help build a Special Economic Zone and serve on the front lines of the nation.
In the end, he won a science and technology award, was named an Outstanding Contributor, became a professor at Qingbei University, and made a name for himself far and wide.
As his wife, she joined him in the front row to watch the National Day parade, listened to him speak as an outstanding alumnus at his alma mater's anniversary celebration, toured a warship, attended the first Spring Festival Gala as an invited guest, and witnessed the national treasure pandas' hilarious dumbbell-lifting antics.
She also watched their exceptionally gifted sons struggle to fit in with their classmates because they were so intelligent at such a young age.
Who still remembers that she'd originally hoped her husband would become a big shot?
From village woman to mayor's wife.
Sang Jiashu held her forehead. She must have gone mad. No matter how she looked at it, this had nothing to do with the original novel's plot. Real life had gone wildly off the rails.

[Below is the preorder: I Won Awards Until My Hands Went Numb by Writing in Hong Kong]
An anti-sentimental female writer vs. her dangerously unhinged second male lead
She transmigrated into a book!
The good news: It was her own book.
The bad news: She'd become the love-addled, eloping and cheating fiancee of a vicious, ruthless, sinister, limping second male lead from an old-school, melodramatic Hong Kong romance about love that can never be returned. She was a despicable illegitimate daughter, and it was the dying days of the darkest era...
How many buffs could stack up? It was practically a royal flush!
Li Jiajia rolled her eyes, kicked her legs out, and died on the hospital bed she'd been dragged back to. She ascended on the spot.
When she opened her eyes again, night had fallen. Bodyguards in black suits and sunglasses filled the space around her bed:
"That girl's a rotten little slut. Drag her off to work as a hooker."
Having grown up under the red flag and never known hardship, Li Jiajia shuddered at his words.
Suddenly, something cold and hard clamped around her chin, forcing her to turn her head. She met a pair of dark, inscrutable eyes, cold and deep.
Wang Wenhan stood beneath the arched moon, tall and straight in a well-tailored vintage suit. His long fingers gripped his cane through crocodile-skin gloves, making it creak.
The woman winced, a soft moan escaping her red lips. Her voice was gentle and delicate, and her veins showed beneath her slender neck.
What a sight to behold.
Later, on many a late night,
His large hand had long since shed its cold crocodile-skin glove, revealing ugly scars. Warmth in his touch, it stroked the sleeping woman's face again and again, unable to let go.
His sharp, thin lips covered the fluffy crown of her head, her willow brows, pert nose, soft cheeks, and tender lips, leaving them steeped in love. His bright-eyed girl murmured soundlessly: Baby, I really like you... You have to love me forever.
Meanwhile, the woman, exhausted and annoyed to death by him, kept her eyes closed, grabbed his hand, and planted five or six random kisses on it to placate him. "Mm, mm, mm. Go to sleep. It's past time for my beauty sleep~"
[Please note:]
[Male lead is a food-guarding stray dog?]
[Male lead has intense possessiveness and a twisted need for control / a gutter-crawling bug dreams of keeping the moonlight all to himself]
[My girl is Wang Beast's baby. He has to hold her close, and he can't sleep soundly without looking at her seventy or eighty times and kissing her just as many times before bed]
[Old-school melodrama]
[Fictional setting / extremely fictional / don't associate this with any real people / nothing to do with the author]
Theme: Never give up on your lofty ambitions. Walk toward the sun, and let flowers bloom along the way
No, talking about family members is so shameless [rolls eyes]
It seems that the bonus extra can only be set up seven days or a few days after it is completed. When I came in at one o'clock and saw the welfare episode, I thought my wife had finished it in one go [covering face and laughing and crying],
Didn't you say it would be completed? 😭
Do you treat me like a Japanese? What kind of welfare chapter is this? Wuwuwuwuwu 🐶
Suddenly I thought of checking to see if there were any more updates, just in case there were any surprises, and it turned out that I had written a new article, 😭
Qi Ling married a mixed-race husband by Daodao Youtang|Unsolved V
It's spring time again, when will it be updated? Ask for updates (kneel down and kowtow)
Damn, when will the update start? I really want to finish it 😂
