2025/04/21 note
(I wrote about thirty thousand words of the original idea, but I really wasn't happy with it. I'll save it for now and put up a new pre-release later. I'm so sorry to everyone who's been waiting. "Bows!")
Lu Yiming, a bisexual bottom forced into love in a flower-market novel, never imagined he'd accidentally transmigrate into another novel, a face-slapping story about a real and a fake young master. And he'd ended up as a lackey and fence-sitter who wouldn't survive past five chapters.
Lu Yiming: ...
He doesn't remember anything, but he knows he's been fucked.
The fake young master isolates him for being incompetent, while the real young master avoids him for being a spineless bootlicker. But that's not even the worst part.
The worst part is that Lu Yiming suddenly discovers that when he transmigrated, he was already carrying a baby!
-
A lot of people have noticed that the two young masters of the Huo family, the real one and the fake one, have been acting strangely lately.
The fake young master, Huo Junsheng, used to go out of his way to target the real young master, who had just been brought home. Now he spends every day shut up at home, reading books about prenatal education.
The real young master, Huo Duanning, used to focus solely on business studies. Then one day, for some inexplicable reason, he switched tracks and started studying obstetrics and gynecology.
One day, a huge scandal broke out in the Huo family. Supposedly, the old master was so furious he took to his bed sick. Everyone gossiped that the two young masters, real and fake, had finally come to blows, stirring up a storm across the city!
But
Huo Junsheng: I told you, Yiming can't eat chili while he's taking care of the baby!
Huo Duanning: Science shows that eating a moderate amount of chili is good for the pregnancy!
Clutching a spicy snack stick, Lu Yiming watched the two of them argue until their faces turned red, then quietly covered his belly with his hands.
Everyone: ...???
-
Huo Zhen has always known that he was created for one person.
Whether he was that person's sick, possessive top in a flower-market novel, or later became the uncle of the two young masters after transmigrating into a story about a real and a fake young master, he couldn't control his desire. His restrained gaze could only stay fixed on that person, unable to look away.
Until
That person was carrying his baby, looking innocent and pitiful. He winked at his real nephew on the left, exchanged a gesture with his fake nephew on the right, then said to him in a helpless voice:
"Uncle Huo, I wish I were having twins."
"Then Junsheng and Duanning could each have one."
Huo Zhen: ...
-
Later, Lu Yiming realizes that the hardest person to deal with in the whole story isn't either of the two young masters, real or fake.
The way Uncle Huo looks at him, both openly and when he thinks no one's watching
is like he wants to eat him alive.
