Do You Still Like Me?

December 11, 2021

[1]

Li Rong had only ever shared a bed with one person.

Even though he was already twenty-eight this year, and various wealthy patrons and senior figures had hinted at it, he still hadn't started a second relationship. This awkward situation had gone on for a long time, until a recent gala.

In front of everyone, Li Rong grabbed the man's tie and leaned in to steal a kiss and share his drink. His eyes, reddened by alcohol, drooped slightly.

"Mr. Mo, would you like to sleep with me again?"

[2]

He and Mo Wenshu had been together for a year, but it wasn't love.

Everyone knew back then that Mo Wenshu had been taken in by the Mo family. He had lost several years of his memory and was determined to find his birth parents. Li Rong lied to him, telling him they had already been dating.

Mo Wenshu treated him well, like an older brother.

That was also why, when Li Rong learned by accident that Mo Wenshu was the young master of the Mo family, he couldn't bear it. Mo should have enjoyed a better education and a better life, but instead he had been forced to live in poverty, so poor he couldn't even afford to go to school.

He never told Mo Wenshu that he couldn't bear to let him go.

He selfishly wanted to keep him by his side. When his lies were exposed, Mo Wenshu, who hadn't liked him in the first place, seemed to hate him even more. He vanished without so much as a goodbye.

[3]

The Mo family brought home a refined young master, cold and aloof to an extreme.

Less than half a month after he returned, the young master asked to study abroad. Barely an adult, he went alone to a foreign country and stayed there for five whole years.

Five years later,

Having completed his studies, Mo Wenshu decisively cut off his half-brother's connections, secured nearly eighty percent of the Mo family's shares overnight, and became the undisputed heir to the Mo family.

At a reunion for their affiliated high school, nobody expected Mo Wenshu to show up. A few gossipy classmates brought up old rumors, and Li Rong's name came up in the conversation. Mo Wenshu remained composed the whole time.

Until someone said, "Li Rong's on a date with his boyfriend. He can't make it."

[The most intoxicating springtime in the world was when I was sixteen,]

[In a cramped, narrow space,]

[I tasted you.]
