My Boyfriend of Two Years Is Actually the Original Novel's Male Lead!

Yu Cheng transmigrates into a novel as a minor character. After dating his younger boyfriend for two years, he suddenly discovers that his boyfriend is the original male lead of the novel!

In the original story, everyone who tries to keep the male lead and his love interest apart meets a terrible end!

Terrified, Yu Cheng leaves a letter, breaks up with him without warning, and runs away in the middle of the night.

He plans to hide, but his unscrupulous company drafts him into a competition show, even though he has only six months left on his contract.

Yu Cheng pats his chest and reassures himself: It's fine. The original male lead and his love interest are falling in love on the dating show next door. As long as I quietly finish filming this show, I won't get involved in their relationship.

But when he opens the door, he sees the younger boyfriend he broke up with.

Yu Cheng: "..."

Even worse, they're assigned to the same team.

Yu Cheng is relieved again. His younger boyfriend has already reunited with his birth family and is now the show's favored contestant.

So Yu Cheng is definitely the one who'll be eliminated!

But Yu Cheng is so nervous and guilty that he unconsciously reaches out and takes his younger boyfriend's hand.

Yu Cheng: "..."

The air goes completely still.

Later, things spiral further out of control when Lu Siyan, the original love interest, also shows up on the competition show.

Seeing the younger boyfriend's destined partner arrive, Yu Cheng finally sees a chance to survive.

He plans to push the destined pair back together and steels himself to tell his boyfriend:

"Lu Siyan seems pretty good, too!"

But that very night, his younger boyfriend pins him to the hotel bed.

Xiang Yang awakens to the truth on the night they break up, realizing that he is the male lead of this novel.

He also knows that everyone in the original story who tries to keep him and Lu Siyan apart meets a terrible end.

So he's been holding himself back, afraid he might actually hurt Yu Cheng.

Until Yu Cheng keeps pushing him toward other people. At last, he can no longer stand it and grits his teeth. "After breaking up with me, you're not only pretending to be a couple with someone else, you're trying to set me up with another man, too?

"Big brother, if I don't teach you a lesson, you'll never behave."

Netizens originally tuned in to the competition show to watch an acting showcase.

[What the hell, this competition show is a dating show, isn't it?]

[I've already shipped several couples. This chaotic mix is so delicious!]

[The best pairing is still Yu Cheng and Xiang Yang! They're real, right?]

Until one day, they see the two of them announce their relationship on Weibo.

[Holy crap! My ship really came true!]
