When Ye Ruochen was seven, she was in a car accident that damaged her brain and left her a slow-witted little darling.
One day,
her manager suddenly says, “Tomorrow you'll meet the award-winning actor Han Suijing. Your character is a troublesome, disposable ‘little blind girl’ who throws herself at people, got it?”
Ye Ruochen, whose head isn't working too well: How am I supposed to act that out? [Panda lying flat]
Manager: Use a scheme to make Han Suijing late for tomorrow's audition.
Ye Ruochen props her chin on her hand. What do I know about schemes?
After an afternoon of deep thought: How about I try the beauty trap?
That night,
when the unsmiling man sees someone soaking in his bathtub, he is genuinely startled.
He takes out his phone to call the police, just as someone throws a bar of soap at his head.
“Pervert! Get out!”
“This is my bathroom,” Han Suijing says coldly.
“So what? It's not like I can see you!” Ye Ruochen orders him without a hint of shame. “Why are you just standing there? Come scrub my back.”
Han Suijing stares at the bar of soap on the floor, which hit him with uncanny accuracy, and grows suspicious.
The next day, Han Suijing is late after all.
Because Ye Ruochen ends up in the hospital.
After that day, Ye Ruochen disappears.
Han Suijing searches everywhere, on the verge of going crazy.
At last, he sees her again while filming a variety show.
He watches Ye Ruochen blush as she invites other guests to team up for a two-person challenge.
He watches her pair up with one person today and get all cozy with another tomorrow.
He watches her surrounded by a bunch of men with ulterior motives, never knowing how to turn them down.
Han Suijing's expression grows darker by the day.
One day, he finally can't take it anymore. With a cold expression, he corners Ye Ruochen against the wall. “I think we need to talk.”
“Sorry, I can't see clearly. Who are you?” Ye Ruochen pretends to be blind.
Han Suijing sneers. “That's fine. I'll make you remember who I am.” (In bed, I mean... not.)
From the love interest's point of view
The day Han Suijing learns he isn't the Han family's biological son happens to be his twelfth birthday.
All these years,
whenever he hears that the Han family is still searching for their biological son, he can't help feeling jealous.
He has been jealous for a long time,
until he learns that the person they've found is named Ye Ruochen...
Memories come flooding back.
He remembers that night when passion took over,
and the tears she shed as he kissed her.
