The Imperial Tutor Is a Sickly Beauty

Gao Zhan, a top student in business and economics, arrives in ancient times. With a photographic memory and a gift for eloquence, he is the most outstanding legitimate son of the prestigious Gao family. Unfortunately, he has been frail since childhood, with a delicate constitution that means he won't survive three days without medicine.

Despite this, Gao Zhan passes the imperial examinations and becomes the top scholar at the age of fifteen. He is appointed tutor to the princes and teaches in the Southern Study.

Because his students are older than he is, Gao Zhan has to put on the airs of a strict teacher. Even so, he can't escape one prince's relentless pursuit, and the two begin a relationship when Gao Zhan is eighteen.

Over the decades that follow, they support each other as they fight for power and the throne. Just when they've finally secured control of the court, Gao Zhan discovers that his beloved has someone else in his heart!

Unable to accept it, he falls into a deep depression and soon dies.

When he wakes again, he has returned to the age of eighteen in this body.

This time, he wants none of it: not love, power, or glory. He only wants to stay out of the struggle and enjoy a different life.

[The top's perspective]

Zhou Songyi never expected to lose the love of his life just as he ascended the throne. Overcome with grief, he too soon dies of heartbreak.

Fortunately, Heaven takes pity on him and sends him back to the age of eighteen. This time, all he wants is to spend his whole life with the one he loves. But things don't seem to be going smoothly:

That person no longer accepts his confessions and even avoids him when they walk together.

Suddenly, he has more rivals. It seems like everyone is in love with him!

Worst of all, he keeps trying to push Zhou Songyi into the arms of other people!

Zhou Songyi's eyes turned bloodshot as he thought viciously: Don't blame me. You brought this on yourself. I can't hold back anymore...
