Harmony and Joy

The blurb has been changed. The story has been changed too. In short, my compulsive need to tidy things up won't let me lock the story.

Note: I wrote this a long time ago, and it's not very good. It's something like a palace-intrigue story. I'm posting it simply because I don't want to lock away this short story that starts and ends abruptly. My compulsive need to tidy things up really can't stand seeing one locked story among a row of others.

Blurb:

The year He Ling returned to the capital was the best year of her life.

Back then, she did whatever she pleased, never imagining that when she left, she would become an abandoned pawn in everyone's eyes, exiled to Jiangnan.

Even less did she expect that three years later, she would be in Jiangnan when an imperial decree arrived, ordering her to marry into a family in the north.

I won't change it again. For the sake of my pretty profile page, I'll do my best to finish the story.

Maybe because it's a light novel, it got sorted under anime romance. Oh well, never mind. I'll leave it as it is.

Theme: Light in the darkness.
