Coming soon: My Blind Sister Pities Me. Blurb at the very bottom.
[1] Yun Li knows that if her father hadn't happened to save Lu Qian from drowning, there would have been no chance of her marrying Lu Huaiyan. She also knows that Lu Huaiyan resents her father for using his life debt to pressure him, and resents her just as much.
The Lu family may not be royalty, but they are a prominent household in Feng County. And their eldest son, Lu Huaiyan, has been exceptionally gifted since childhood. He passed the imperial examinations at seventeen, becoming the youngest top scholar of the third rank in the dynasty.
On top of all that, Lu Huaiyan is handsome and refined, with bright eyes and elegant features. After he passed the exams, matchmakers seeking a marriage proposal for him practically wore down his doorstep. In the end, he quietly married a fisherman's daughter. Everyone said Yun Li was simply no match for Lu Huaiyan, and Yun Li herself agreed.
[2] After they married, apart from the two nights each month set aside for marital relations, the two barely interacted, since Lu Huaiyan was devoted to his official duties. Yet the rare times they slept entwined in each other's arms made Yun Li imagine that he might have a little affection for her after all.
After their last night together, Lu Huaiyan received an imperial order to take up a post in Yuzhou.
On the day he returned home after completing his assignment, she cupped her slightly rounded belly and hurried happily to the main hall.
In the crowded hall, Lu Huaiyan stood tall in a blue-green robe. Beside him stood a woman whose belly was just as round. Yun Li felt as though she had fallen into an icy pool.
Lu Huaiyan's gaze passed through the crowd and settled on her, seeming pointed, almost like a warning. "From now on, Ruoyin is part of the Lu family. Do not mistreat her."
[3] Yun Li once brought up a divorce, but Lu Huaiyan merely replied, "A divorce now would damage the reputations of the Lu family and Ruoyin."
But in the end, she lost her child, and her brother died unjustly. In the letter he sent before his death, he had kept hoping she would come save him.
Not long afterward, Yun Li finally faked her death and escaped the suffocating cage that was the Lu household.
They met again at the little tavern Yun Li had opened, where Lu Huaiyan stopped to rest.
When they saw each other, Lu Huaiyan accidentally knocked over his wine cup. "A-Li?"
Yun Li was both frightened and startled. She forced herself to remain composed and said gently yet resolutely, "You've mistaken me for someone else, sir."
For countless days afterward, Lu Huaiyan sought chances to see her, but all she ever said was, "You've mistaken me for someone else, sir," just as he had once treated her with indifference.

Blurb for My Blind Sister Pities Me:
After the floods, Tan Dai had nowhere to live. Her mother and stepfather caught the plague and died one after another, leaving her with only her stepbrother, Pei He'an.
Tan Dai had been blind since childhood, so she didn't know what her stepbrother looked like. He didn't say much, so she didn't know what kind of person he was, either. But with her keen senses, she could tell he was difficult to get along with. With her mother and stepfather dead, he probably didn't want to be saddled with her, either.
One day, while her stepbrother was out looking for food, Tan Dai stumbled out of the ruined temple where the two of them had taken shelter. She planned to jump into the pond beside it and end her life. But once she jumped in, the water proved deep and cold. The suffocating sensation made her panic, and she began flailing and struggling.
Just as she was about to lose consciousness, a pair of strong hands gripped her slender waist and dragged her back to shore. Her stepbrother's clear, cool voice fell by her ear, sounding half teasing and half mocking. "Sister, still trying to die?"
Tan Dai shook her head frantically.
Pei He'an looked at the woman before him, soaked through and so terrified she had lost her wits. His gaze gradually darkened, and he slowly curled his lips into a smile. "Then it's settled. I saved your life, Sister, so from now on, it belongs to me."

As her stepbrother grew older, other young men his age had already married and started families, but for some reason, he showed no interest in any of it.
One day, Tan Dai persuaded him to meet a young woman. The day before the meeting, she opened her eyes and was overjoyed to discover that she could see. Not far away, in her boudoir where he had no business being, her stepbrother was lying on a daybed. Covering his face was none other than the tasseled bellyband she always wore.

Male lead's perspective
Pei He'an had few family ties from childhood onward. He was cold and distant, and knew how to kill but not how to love.
Everything changed the day he rescued his foolish stepsister from the pond.
As he watched her trembling, drenched body in his arms, wicked thoughts filled his mind.
The woman before him was beautiful and ethereal, with skin like ice and jade. He only wanted to hide her away and keep her all to himself.
*Little scenes
Pei He'an at first: So annoying. She's frail, and blind, too.
In the meantime: I took a sniff. Why does she smell kind of nice?
Later: Wait, she really does smell so good.
Later still: What? She wants to push me toward someone else? No way. I won't allow it.
Theme: When there's a flower to pluck, pluck it while you can.
I can only say that the male protagonist was treated too little, and the female protagonist was killed and had an abortion. The hatred should be very strong, but it is too light. Can still speak normally to the male protagonist
What I think is disgusting about the male protagonist is that when Qin gave birth, he was so nervous that he almost went in to accompany the birth. He completely ignored the female protagonist when she was uncomfortable. When I read that chapter, I really thought that the child in Qin's belly was the male protagonist's [rolling eyes]. The child was gone, and I didn't feel the sadness of the male protagonist. Even when the female protagonist left, I felt that the male protagonist was a little happy that he could be with Qin in an upright manner. It really felt like this at that time. The male protagonist was no longer a scumbag, but rotten. If the female protagonist can still accept the male protagonist in the future, then it's really better to forget about it.
Yesterday's "The Crematorium" was not written at all, and the scumbag was not abusive at all, but in order to be a good man, the heroine must be written as a weak chicken and a spoiled wife. She relies on the scumbag for everything, right?
Fan is so confident, why did she expose herself? After so many chapters, the heroine still has no means, and the villain has even exposed himself 🍉
It was so funny that the scumbag only knew how to avoid the heroine after being told.
Where are the torturers and the crematorium? How much heartache does this scumbag have?
The heroine is really weak and somewhat speechless. 💔
Didn't the author check again? Lu's name was typed incorrectly. Lu is pregnant 🐶 🐶 🐶
Why hasn't there been an update in two days 😭
Has the hero regained his memory?
