The Lazy Old Lady Makes a Comeback

He Ya transmigrates into a book and becomes a little old lady who's been pushed off a cliff. She thinks she's as good as dead, but not only does she survive, she also makes a pact with a battered old sword.

She thinks she's treated the sword pretty well, feeding it spirit stones and pills, and even sharing her bed with it. Then one day, the sword takes human form and seems ready to chop her in half. Is this how you repay someone for their kindness? Have you no manners?

Cang Yi has slept for countless millennia. When someone finally wakes him, he thinks he's at last been freed, only to discover that his awakener is a little old lady. Her cultivation is weak, for one thing, and she keeps telling him, “You're a mature sword now. Learn to practice your own moves. You're a mature sword now. Learn to take risks on your own.”

Following her around every day, cultivating and fighting, isn't all that boring. But one day, when He Ya once again says, “You're a mature sword now. Learn to...”

Before she can finish, Cang Yi cups her face in both hands and cuts her off with a kiss. “I'm a mature sword now. It's time I learned to find myself a wife.”
