I'm Helping Others Pursue My Wife

At twenty-eight, Fu Chen's family arranged for him to marry into the Ning family. The agreement had been that he'd marry Ning Yan, the twenty-six-year-old adopted son. But the one who arrived to marry him that day was Ning Tongyan, the eighteen-year-old biological son who had only just been found.

"They didn't want that other guy marrying you, so I'm the one here instead. Let's just make do," Ning Tongyan said nonchalantly in the car.

Fu Chen drove home in a daze with a kid who looked criminally young, no matter how he looked at it. When he asked, he found out the kid was eighteen.

Fu Chen felt guilty just looking at that face, so he told the kid, "We don't have feelings for each other. I can't hold you back. You should date whoever you want. If you like someone, your big brother will help you win him over."

To make his excuse convincing, he even earnestly told the wide-eyed kid, who didn't understand a thing, that he was no good in bed.

Later.

"The three-year agreement is up. Time to get divorced." Ning Tongyan had been brought home by another man. He climbed all over Fu Chen as if he were drunk, still wearing that nonchalant expression.

Fu Chen had had enough and shoved him off. "Divorce what? We're not getting divorced!"

They sat facing off, Ning Tongyan straddling his lap, Fu Chen holding him still. After a while, the kid's expression shifted from confused to flushed, then to pure shock. He stared at Fu Chen for a long time before whispering, "Didn't you say it didn't work?"

"What's it like helping my wife pursue his crush?" "I'm sorry, I regret it." "Get away from my wife, thanks." "Love me again, wife."

Little scenes

Scene 1

Fu Chen heard that Ning Tongyan's grades were terrible and gave him a scolding.

Ning Tongyan blushed.

Fu Chen: "...Why are you blushing when I'm reprimanding you?"

Scene 2

Ning Tongyan decided to pursue the newly transferred school heartthrob.

Fu Chen reluctantly helped his wife correct the typos in a love letter.

The heartthrob was flattered. "Ningning, what's this?"

Ning Tongyan said nonchalantly, "A love letter for you. My husband helped me write it."

The heartthrob: ???
