Pheromone Collision

Jiang Ping, the cool, beautiful top student in the medical program at A University, has two secrets.

1. His pheromones are colorless and odorless, yet they make every Alpha impotent.

2. He has a severe fear of public speaking, so bad that it leaves him struggling to breathe and unable to complete his thesis defense.

The defense features a panel of 33 professors who take turns asking questions. No one can be exempted, unless they apply to switch to a grading-only assessment during late pregnancy.

Jiang Ping: That sounds like a good solution, but

As it happens, a friend introduces him to a mysterious Alpha who has lost control, asking him to soothe his pheromone storm syndrome.

To his surprise, someone can actually smell his pheromones without becoming impotent, and Jiang Ping manages to soothe him.

Six months later, at the graduate thesis defense at A University.

Jiang Ping’s belly is visibly swollen and his lips are pale. He never looks at the panel of advisors below as he gives his presentation. By the time he finishes, his clothes are soaked with cold sweat.

His research is beyond reproach, and the hall is utterly silent. The scoring device is about to announce a perfect score

When a deep voice suddenly comes from the back row.

“Were you really in the lab on the night of December 3?”

Cen Lang opens the lab logbook, rests his long fingers on the date, and looks up at Jiang Ping with a cold, questioning gaze.

Jiang Ping’s phobia flares up. He grips the table, his face turning deathly pale against his will. “...I was.”

What, am I not allowed to drag myself in and do an experiment?

Cen Lang has been tormented by pheromone storm syndrome for twelve years. Whenever it flares up, anyone who gets close to him is left with lasting nerve pain.

Until one day, a god descends briefly.

Only to leave him with a fake in their place.

Cen Lang folds his hands, gazes lazily at Jiang Ping, and says with a dangerous look, “Anyone who deceives me in this world, ”

Jiang Ping: “Could I draw a vial of your pheromones?”

Cen Lang: “...Sure.”

A beautiful, composed, research-obsessed bottom × a refined scoundrel of a powerful top

* The top is not a professor and has no connection to the bottom’s studies. This story has a mountain of fictional worldbuilding.

According to his notes, he was a complete lovesick fool. After secretly marrying his crush, he cooked and cleaned every day, took odd jobs to help with the bills, and still got criticized by his crush for cooking badly.

Meanwhile, his crush had countless rumors linking him to other people and treated him with utter coldness.

Shang Jing: I’m done being a lovesick fool!

Then he gets the hospital bill and checks his bank balance. With no choice, he pulls out his phone

“Husband (●′ω`●), I’m at the hospital. Come pick me up.”

The sender calls him husband and asks him to come pick them up.

What trick is this now?

He looks at the face he hasn’t seen in years and replies, “Okay.”

“Could you give me my phone back?”
