My Ex-Girlfriend Lives Downstairs

When Lu Ji was admitted to a prestigious high school, Xie Se was his classmate.

When Lu Ji attended one of the top two universities, Xie Se was a student at a mediocre university next door.

When Lu Ji was pursuing his doctorate, Xie Se was the dorm supervisor in the building below his.

Xie Se pursued Lu Ji twice, once in high school and once in college, and gave up on him twice as well.

She had a secret: when they broke up two years ago, she was pregnant with Lu Ji’s child. She bore the joys and hardships alone, and wanted no one to know.

Lu Ji said, “I won’t give you a third chance to pursue me.”

Later, everyone saw the heartthrob of H University move a camp bed into the dormitory lobby and sleep on the floor.

In the middle of the night, a child’s soft crying came from the dorm supervisor’s room.

Lu Ji stayed up all night, gently knocking on the door. “Se Se, let me soothe the baby.”
