My Little Brother Is Sweet-Talking, but He Doesn't Have Feelings for You

A sweet, slightly spacey bookworm bottom VS a gorgeous, pure-hearted, scheming top who spoils his lover

[Blurb]:

Zhu He was obsessed with academics and finally got into a PhD program in philosophy.

His research topic for the new semester: Platonic love.

But Zhu He had been single since birth and had no inspiration for his paper.

By chance, he spotted a man by the roadside. He was handsome and well-built, but a little poor: he couldn't even bring himself to buy fried chicken at the night market.

Feeling both sorry for him and attracted to him, Zhu He splashed out a fortune and sweet-talked him: "Hey, handsome, want to explore pure love together?"

-

Zhu He was researching spiritual, chaste romance.

But his boyfriend was just too clingy, wanting to hold hands today and cuddle tomorrow.

His paper had gone completely off topic, his progress was stalled, and his research funds were almost gone.

Zhu He couldn't take it anymore. He decided to pin the blame on a mysterious senior schoolmate he'd never met.

After surgery, Lin Tingxun needed to eat bland food. By chance, at the night market, he ran into the younger neighbor he'd liked since childhood, who had suddenly moved away.

He doesn't remember me? That's fine.

He wants to be Platonic with me? That's fine.

He wants to break up with me? No... what???

Lin Tingxun received a three-thousand-word breakup paper.

Zhu He said miserably that his senior schoolmate had discovered their relationship. The senior was impossible to deal with and was homophobic, forbidding him from dating men.

Then he blocked him on every platform.

Later, the school held a lecture.

Zhu He's advisor took him along, only for them to discover that the clingy ex-boyfriend was standing onstage...

The man wore a suit, spoke with a clear, polished accent, and was poised and eloquent. He solved a century-old philosophical problem that had baffled experts at home and abroad.

The advisor proudly introduced him: "That's your senior schoolmate."

Later still, someone caught sight of this:

The famously aloof senior heartthrob had his new junior cornered in a classroom, teasing him until his face turned bright red.

Zhu He forced a smile: "...Hello, Senior."

Lin Tingxun: "I'm not fine. I'm impossible to deal with."

Zhu He held out a hand in apology: "...Senior, please calm down."

Lin Tingxun: "Don't touch me. I'm homophobic."

Zhu He began to withdraw his trembling hand, but Lin Tingxun grabbed it: "But I never said you couldn't date me."
