After Finding Chrome

The day after my husband's funeral,

I found a poor, adorable girl who seemed to glow.

I'd heard that Neon was a nice place to retire, so after taking care of her husband's funeral, Martina flew from Italy to Neon with his ashes and settled in the quiet, peaceful town of Namimori.

But on her very first day in town, Martina noticed an unusual girl:

A girl all alone, soaked from head to toe, like a little kitten.

The first time they met, Martina brought the girl home to bathe. But when she turned around, the girl had vanished.

The second time they met, she gave the girl some food.

It was just like taking care of a stray cat, Martina thought.

If they met again, what could she prepare for the girl?

The third time they met was at the scene of the girl's car accident.

When Chrome woke up, the woman by her bed had eyes as blue as the sea. She took her hand and said,

"Hello. You've been kidnapped. I'm the kidnapper, and I'm the buyer, too."

A stray cat who can't take care of herself has to be kidnapped and brought home.

Later, Martina earnestly warned her girl: Stay far away from Pineapple Head! Far, far away!

* A story about raising a young girl

* Writing purely for my own enjoyment, indulging my tastes without restraint. I have an eight-hundred-meter filter of maternal love for Chrome.

* Mainly Katekyo Hitman Reborn, with bits and pieces from the author's crossover list. You can enjoy it even if you haven't read them.
