From the Start, I Had a Script for Success

[An embarrassing old work I wrote in my early days to practice my writing. Please see the notes below for content warnings.]

[I'm begging you to spare the author's dignity and not read this. I've already cringed myself to death.]

[Blurb]

After writing a string of dream-fiction nonsense on the twentieth-birthday present my grandfather gave me, I went to bed happily. The next day, I went to work as usual as a bottom-rung office drone at the Special Division for Unusual Powers.

But from the moment I stepped outside that day, one unlucky thing after another happened. I had a vague sense that something was wrong.

Then I saw three handsome men, each with a different style, crowded around my desk and fighting over who I belonged to. There was also a calico cat meowing at me and pretending to be hurt, and my boss had suddenly become my subordinate...

I finally got it, and immediately used my clever little brain to figure out what was going on.

"So, why would a grandfather dig a hole for his own grandson to fall into?!"

Short scenes.

After finishing everything, Boss Dazai was about to jump off a building. "At last, this moment has come. The moment I've been waiting for so long. I can't wait, I really can't wait... Huh?"

Oh no, why was there suddenly another best friend in his head who needed saving?!

Then, under Atsushi and Akutagawa's puzzled gazes, he suddenly acted as if nothing had happened and hurried downstairs.

Atsushi and Akutagawa: ???

At the technical college, the two strongest were having their final showdown. Just as 5T5 said, "Do you have any last words?", the black-haired man opposite him suddenly scoffed and fought back again

"You think she's yours just because you say so? Did you ask what she thinks?"

"Heh. Then let's go ask her face-to-face and see who she chooses!"

The two of them supported each other as they walked away.

The Pure Love Warrior: ...???

Xia Mu Zhen Liu solemnly raised the phone and called his college buddy, who was far away across the ocean.

"Bro, sorry, but I might have to steal your idea and build something like an ideal nation."

The young professor, receiving this bizarre call, paused for once and glanced at the TV before slowly asking, "So, is that why you're running for prime minister of Japan...?"

Reader notes:

1. The main story is told in first person. The heroine is a hidden plot enthusiast, basically the chosen one. Her pairing is Boss Dazai.

2. Content warning: This is mainly plot-driven, and the writing is rough. Because the stats were poor while I was updating, I cut the outline and rushed the ending. I recommend buying it chapter by chapter to avoid losing out. Seriously! Don't buy the whole book at once if you might not like it and regret it, everyone!!!

Theme: Set lofty goals and work hard to achieve success
