After Being Surrounded by Fluffy Creatures

I once thought being a doctor in a world where animals turn into humans would be an easy job.

But I was wrong. Very, very wrong.

Mr. Peacock came in for a consultation, dressed to the nines.

Me: What symptoms are you experiencing?

Mr. Peacock took off his wig and said tearfully, "A nasty dog bit off my tail feathers, and I lost a lot of blood. Doctor, is there any hope for me after being disfigured?"

Me: ...There is hope. Bird-specific hair growth tonic. Apply it to the affected area once in the morning and once at night for a week. Next.

A young sheep staggered in, looking dazed. "Doctor, I accidentally ate some of my classmate's animal fur. I've had indigestion for almost a month. Am I about to die?"

Me: ...What species is the other person?

The young sheep looked pale. "Lion."

Me: Unbelievable.

"Cat-specific hairball paste. Take it for three days and see if you can pass it. If not, come back for a follow-up. Next."

A black cat civil servant sat upright.

Me: What symptoms are you experiencing?

The black cat civil servant said wearily, "I've had no appetite lately. I can't even eat dried fish."

Me: ?

The black cat civil servant ground his teeth. "I've seized more than ten shipments of smuggled goods at customs recently. Those damn fish have ruined my nose and my appetite." He looked at me expectantly. "Doctor, you must have a way to get my appetite back, right?"

Me: ...Avoid all seafood for now, and have a moderate amount of catnip. I'll skip writing you a prescription. By the way, remember to give your fur a thorough cleaning. I can smell the fish.

All right, next.

What kind of ridiculous patient will show up today?
