Wen Shuyi transmigrated into a book, landing in a primitive world where people get eaten.
There are no humans in this primitive world, only beastfolk, and the food chain is complete: wolves eat sheep, and sheep eat grass. Unfortunately, Wen Shuyi has become someone else's meal, with the threat of death hanging over her at every moment.
Wen Shuyi finds the amnesiac villain. With a tiger ahead and wolves behind, she can't beat anyone in her rabbit form. The villain is a carnivore, so she figures keeping him close will help protect her.
Gritting her teeth, Wen Shuyi takes the villain home and looks after him well. She gives him water when he's thirsty, chases after him to feed him when he's hungry, and even picks stars for him if he asks. She spoils him rotten, thinking that once his memory returns, she'll teach him to be a good person and get herself a powerful ally.
Shang Yun is the last dragon in the primitive world. He's savage and bloodthirsty by nature, often taking pleasure in tormenting people. His methods are extremely cruel, and he has no humanity whatsoever.
In the original plot, Shang Yun is drawn to the protagonist, who is actually there to rid the world of evil. The protagonist tricks Shang Yun into developing what little affection he has, then stabs him in the heart. Wounded, Shang Yun turns into a snake and, in a particularly tragic end, gets eaten for dinner by an eagle passing by.
Wen Shuyi raises the villain with painstaking care, only to discover that Shang Yun was pretending. He's obedient and sweet on the outside, but rotten within, and all he can think about is the best way to eat her.
Silly, beautiful bottom x strong, tragic villain top
