The one after next
[Everyone’s feelings are ambiguous and hard to define | Nobody → Everybody’s Crush]
Heroine: Socially anxious → A dumb little dog who’s a boss at putting on a show (prone to intermittent outbursts)
“Boys are all idiots.”
Gu Gu wrote this on the first page of her diary.
*
Gu Gu transmigrated into a Mary Sue campus reverse-harem novel. She wasn’t the harem heroine or a doomed supporting girl, but an ordinary male side character.
If there was anything special about this character, it was that:
1. He was a girl disguised as a boy.
2. “His” roommates were all male leads.
3. The heroine would fall for “him.”
After school started, Gu Gu planned to move out and avoid having to share a dorm with the male leads-in-waiting.
But after rummaging through her pockets and finding only twenty yuan, she fell silent.
Gu Gu deadpanned:
It’s just sharing a dorm with a bunch of guys, right?
She could put up with it.
*
Out of habit, Gu Gu spent money on a diary to record her daily life.
[First day in the men’s dorm]
“The train ride was so long, I’m exhausted. But my roommates really are handsome!!”
“Wait, the boys... just walk right in without warning when they need to pee?!”
“Whatever. I’ll put up with it.”
[Second day in the men’s dorm]
“Yu Qing scolded me for taking too long to wash up... Aah, I can’t break the habit! And he’s so over the top. Why does he care whether I’ve washed my feet? What a cleanliness freak!”
“I really don’t get these boys. They all go to bed so early.”
“Whatever. I’ll put up with it.”
[Third day in the men’s dorm]
“Qian Xianhang, you bastard!!! It’s bad enough that you peeked at my underwear, but you even dared to make fun of me?! I’ll never make peace with him!”
“...Whatever. I’ll put up with it.”
[The nth day in the men’s dorm]
“What the hell?! Is comparing sizes some kind of custom?! Damn it, I’m going to go blind!!! Why are you picking on me just because I won’t join in?”
“You guys!”
“Fine, I’ll put up with it!”
[The n+1st day in the men’s dorm]
“Damn it, I can’t put up with this anymore.”

Since Gu Gu went out of her way to avoid physical contact, her roommates seemed determined to test her limits, occasionally taking advantage of their height to “accidentally”...
So sensitive that even the slightest touch was unbearable, Gu Gu frantically covered her clothes with her arms, trying to protect her precarious secret identity by picking fights.
Who would’ve thought... that all that bickering would turn her into everyone’s crush?
#No love-triangle factions, no splitting characters into multiple versions. The main story has an open ending, so readers can decide for themselves (everyone competes fairly). In the bonus chapters, her final pairing is the System (keeping someone company is a kind of love too).
Reading guide:
1. The men aren’t limited to her roommates. Everyone falls for the heroine, men and women alike. Some guys get jealous, then... well.
2. The heroine is physically sensitive. Her personality combines the hot-blooded spirit of a Japanese-style shonen protagonist with the jaded laziness of a salted fish.
3. No logic, unusual setting, and the heroine has a natural fragrance [hey].
4. Set in college because I don’t want this novel to get banned.
5. She’ll be exposed in front of some people midway through the story. She returns to her female identity at the end and earns a million a day [?].
6. Includes all kinds of melodramatic elements, including brothers falling for the same heroine, characters turning dark and obsessive, converting gay people to straight and straight people to gay, and more. Readers who are particular about moral values or traditional feminine virtues, beware [gently].
