The Shy, Bashful Student in Need

★★★ The heroine seems like a shy, delicate little flower on the surface (very much so), but deep down she's convinced she's special. She becomes arrogant and domineering, then plays the pitiful little flower. [Character growth]

[Third-person narration]

At an elite school, you are a poor student receiving social aid.

You'd think someone receiving help from society like you would keep your head down and focus on your studies. Your generous scholarship is more than enough to satisfy your alcoholic father's appetite.

But you aren't content with that.

After an unknown amount of time, you spot a photograph in the wallet of a noble young master.

You know your chance has come.

Every year, Elde Academy cruelly expels a batch of poor students for one reason or another, while taking in a new batch at the same time.

To those at the top, poor students are just lab rats, adding a little fun to their lives. Every one of them is so lowly it's laughable.

Until one day, a pretty young woman stands at the podium. She wears canvas shoes with the soles almost coming off, and her hair is tied in a low ponytail. Beneath her blunt bangs, she has a pair of beautiful, damp-looking eyes.

She carefully lifts the corners of her mouth into a shy smile.

"My name is Fun."

P.S. The heroine is selfish and clear-eyed, with the makings of a villainess, and she'll grow as a person.

A fictional constitutional monarchy with an enormous wealth gap. The characters' appearances are primarily based on China.

Theme: Pitying men will bring you a lifetime of bad luck.
