The Real Heiress Is a Proper Young Lady [Entertainment Industry]

Xie Ning'an was born into a family of scholars. Skilled in both letters and arms, she had a brilliant life ahead of her.

Then she wakes up as the real daughter from the countryside in a story about a fake heiress and a real heiress. Her whole life is spent as a foil to the fake heiress, who repeatedly tramples her, while everyone compares the two of them.

The Xie parents say, "Ning'an, you dropped out of high school, you don't know the manners of the upper class, and you don't speak very well. Your sister is different. She's a big star, poised and proper, an excellent student since childhood, and skilled at all kinds of musical instruments. So your father and I have decided not to make your identity public for now. Can we say you're our adopted daughter?"

Her brother scowls. "You're not my sister. I don't have a sister as country and embarrassing as you! My sister is Xie Mianxing!"

Her fiance says, "Mianxing is the woman I've chosen to spend my life with. Nothing will change that."

Looking at the dismal situation from the start, Xie Ning'an frowns. The children of the Xie family are born with pride in their bones. How could I put up with this kind of humiliation?

Xie Ning'an says calmly, "Oh, then let's not acknowledge each other."

I haven't even complained that your family is small and has shallow roots, and now you're the ones looking down on me.

My Nanan Xie family held power over the court, excelled in literature, and achieved great things, setting the standard for an entire generation. The children of the Xie family were all outstanding. I, Xie Ning'an, can shine on my own without relying on anyone.

Before long, a rising star appears in the entertainment industry.

Xie Mianxing can sing and dance fairly well, but Xie Ning'an is a gifted singer and dancer, skilled in music, chess, calligraphy, and painting!

Xie Mianxing fakes her academic credentials, while Xie Ning'an promotes traditional Chinese studies and stuns the literary world!

Xie Mianxing pulls out every trick to snag a role, unaware that the director has visited Xie Ning'an three times, begging her to take the part.

Everyone says the real daughter of the Xie family, lost outside the home, is heaven's favorite, unmatched by anyone.

By then, the Xie family and her fiance are all full of regret, blaming themselves for being so blind. "Ning'an, come back. We were wrong!"

Xie Ning'an waves a hand dismissively. "I said I wouldn't acknowledge you, so I won't. I keep my word."
