As Vast as the Sea, I Reign [Dream of the Red Chamber]

[Advance notice saved]

Lin Ruhai, a loyal minister of his generation, is reborn and wakes to discover that he has become the Emperor of Dayan.

The new emperor runs off to cultivate immortality, forcing him to take his place and even tossing in a Tyrant System nicknamed Doubao.

The System declares confidently: Our goal is to become a great wise ruler. Are you confident?

Lin Ruhai: What? A wise ruler? Me?

He intends to diligently review memorials and contend with the court officials, until one day the System gives him a "Water Mirror" perk.

In the mirror, his beloved daughter Daiyu, whom he once cherished above all else, is being insulted and deliberately slighted by servants of the Rongguo Mansion!

Lin Ruhai immediately loses it: How dare you!

From then on, the Dayan court has a daughter-doting fanatic.

The Xue family boasts that their daughter is about to be selected as a princess's study companion? Lin Ruhai promptly strips them of their imperial merchant business and sends Xue Pan to the death cells.

The Jia family celebrates that Yuanchun is about to receive the emperor's favor? Lin Ruhai sends her straight back to the Rongguo Mansion, making Madam Wang a laughingstock.

In his previous life, they forced him into a marriage alliance between the two families, refused to care for his only daughter, and even dared to claim that every member of the Lin family had died out. In this life, he won't even spare them a glance.

The Jia, Shi, Wang, and Xue families suffer one misfortune after another. The old aristocracy falls once and for all, while the orphaned Lin girl whom nobody had believed in rises to great heights all on her own...

Lin Daiyu: Who would believe it? The person on the Dragon Throne is my own father.
