[Qing Transmigration] A Prince's Daily Life of Slacking Off

After Jiang Qi works himself to death on the job, he discovers that he's become Yin Qi, the fifth son of the Kangxi Emperor in the Qing Dynasty. When he gets his hands on the "Qing Dynasty Princes' Study and Daily Schedule," he feels as though he's been sent right back to his 24/7 job: He works almost every day of the year, has to get up before sunrise, learn a range of skills including Manchu, Chinese, Mongolian, and archery, and meet his demanding boss's exacting standards... Jiang Qi: I'm tired. Time to slack off. - Everyone knows the fifth prince, who was raised by the empress dowager, is a poor student. Unlike the other princes, who are fluent in both Manchu and Chinese and can churn out brilliant essays by the dozen, he can't even write a decent essay. He probably won't be fit for any important responsibilities in the future. Jiang Qi: Responsibilities? What responsibilities? As a prince, I have all the food and drink I need, and the court provides everything from housing to spending money. What more could I want? He has only one goal in life: to slack off. From the moment he arrives in this world, his guiding principle is: If I lie down fast enough and slack off hard enough, nobody can drag me into the abyss of striving. A pure, unadulterated tale of slacking off. Theme: Happiness in life is found in the little things we do every day.
