[Upcoming story. I'll start it after finishing the stories about Matsuda and Hagiwara...]
*Warning: Amuro is a full-fledged villain at first, but will be redeemed later.
During the final battle between the Black and Red sides, Amuro Tooru was shot by the FBI agent he hated most.
When he opened his eyes again, he found himself in the restaurant where he had first met Mouri Kogoro.
Before he could figure out what had happened, a panel calling itself the "Character Redemption System" suddenly appeared.
It told him to follow the original story and become an undercover agent on the Red side. Only then could he truly come back to life.
Amuro Tooru, who regarded the Organization as his lover, hated those sneaky rats more than anything.
How could he become an undercover agent against the one he loved?
While pretending to help the Public Security Bureau, Amuro contacted the Organization, planning to root out all the other undercover agents inside it.
Then the System caught him, erased him, and dragged him into a punishment space.
On his second run, Amuro Tooru had learned his lesson.
He conscientiously completed the System's assigned tasks.
But working for the Public Security Bureau on top of that? Impossible! Absolutely impossible!
And whenever he got the chance, he would trip up the Red side and exploit loopholes in the System.
When it was time for the flashback scenes, the System sent Amuro back to the past to fill in the missing parts of the story.
And so the Organization's once-famous intelligence agent became the top student at the police academy.
Now that was a real joke.
On his very first night, he got beaten up by a curly-haired bastard.
Curly-Haired Bastard: The thing I hate most is people like you who want to become police officers.
Amuro Tooru: As if I want to become a police officer!
Theme: If there were no light, I could have endured the darkness.
