Matsuda, How Did You End Up in the Black Organization?

This is a passion project by the author, updated whenever inspiration strikes. Also known as: Why Did You Join the Distillery, Mazda-chan? Just before graduating from the police academy, Matsuda Jinpei sneaks out in the middle of the night to smoke, drink, and get into fights (not really), then runs into a Conan-style bomber. To stop the bomb from going off, Matsuda Jinpei dismantles it and even shows off a little. He looks so vicious that he seems like a dangerous criminal, and a liquor from the distillery's HR department happens to notice him while passing by. Then the poor Mazda-chan is kidnapped and taken to the distillery. Mazda-chan isn't a police officer yet, but to protect his friends and family, he keeps his identity secret. After going through the distillery's brutal screening process, he successfully earns a code name. During a rookie recruitment mission, he spots a new recruit. Matsuda Jinpei: What? How did you get in here, you blond jerk? Toru: You curly-haired idiot, weren't you missing? The two stare at each other. In the end, Mazda-chan successfully gets onto the Public Security line and becomes a fake liquor. Poor Hagiwara Kenji, Mazda-chan's childhood friend, chooses First Investigative Division instead of the bomb squad to find his friend. (Successfully avoids getting killed off.) During an investigation, he accidentally encounters a terrorist attack by the distillery. Hagiwara Kenji digs deeper to find clues, and runs into Matsuda Jinpei while he's planting a bomb... Hagiwara Kenji: ... Matsuda Jinpei: ... Hagi, do I still have time to explain? *This story will not be contracted. *Updates whenever inspiration strikes. I often disappear. Theme: Though surrounded by darkness, keep your heart pointed toward the light.
